That quote set the internet on fire, starting a debate that’s gone on for days: Is Batman a selfish lover? Or is this a case of DC making the wrong call.

From the Variety piece: “…in this third season of ‘Harley’ [when] we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman,” Halpern said. “And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.’ They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.'”
But the latest person to enter the fray is none other than Zack Snyder himself. The director of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and, more recently the Snyder cut of Justice League, tweeted this earlier today. His position is clear.
Fans of Batman were enthused by Synder’s take.
