In addition to the administrative position running the ethics center, Dr. Cullison will also hold a research appointment in the Department of Philosophy (he has research interests in ethics, meta-ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of language, and philosophy of religion), and be available to supervise students and occasionally teach courses.
Andrew Cullison, formerly associate professor of philosophy and Director of the Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University, is now the Director of the new Cincinnati Ethics Center at the University of Cincinnati.
The new ethics center at the University of Cincinnati (UC) aims to “enhance awareness, promote civil discourse and justice, and provide tools that facilitate integrity and support ethical decision-making to create healthier communities through partnerships at UC and within the surrounding community” and “to bring together community members, students, staff, and scholars to foster dialogue, solve problems, and advance knowledge,” according to a press release. Its website is still under construction, but you can find out more about it via Facebook and Twitter.
