- Teresa Kouri Kissel, assistant professor of philosophy at Old Dominion University, for her project, “This Argument Is Pointless: Updating Susan Stebbing’s Logical Tools for the 21st Century“, and
- Claire Lockard, PhD student in philosophy at Loyola University, Chicago, for her project, “On the Uses and Misuses of Interpretive Charity“.
All three are recipients of the AAUW’s “American Fellowships,” which provide ,000 – ,000 to “support women scholars who are pursuing full-time study to complete dissertations, conducting postdoctoral research full time, or preparing research for publication.”
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) recently announced the winners of its 2021-2022 fellowships, and three philosophers are among them.
