U-571 - There are times that, if the film's theme weren't so serious, you'd have to snicker.

Uber Goober - Is slanted towards the subjects of the documentary, so this isn't one of those "look at the geeks" type affairs where the principal characters are made fun of and belittled.

The Ugly Kid - This movie is for all of us grown-up ugly kids, dorks, nerds, dweebs and outsiders. This is our film.

Unbelievable Truth - Is that we are all alive on the planet and there is no meaning to it all.

Unbreakable - Weaves intricate ideas and spools up plot and theme like so much cotton candy.

Underclassman - I'll take my swipes at Cannon here. In the vernacular of the young: He sucks.

Under One Roof - Now, all that being said, the film has incredibly bad acting, poor visual quality, far too much narration and is, basically, nothing short of a glorified "coming out" story. So why did I like it so much?

Under the Sun - The story is about a romantic triangle that gets increasingly less interesting as it evolves (perhaps like most love triangles).

Undertow - Has a few too many problems to whole-heartedly recommend it.

Underworld - I've never seen anything as derivative as Underworld."

Unfaithful - One of the most interesting drama to be seen this summer.

Universal Soldier: The Return - It does have the biggest explosion I've ever seen on film, I believe, at the end though.

University,Inc. - There is so much going on in "University, Inc." that it's hard to believe it's running time is under an hour.

Unleashed - The "3-Iron" for frat boys.

The Upside of Anger - Tries too hard to be deep, emotional and complex.

Up Syndrome - It's a truly remarkable love letter to a friend we have here.

Urban Cowboy - Is the stupidest motherfucking movie you will ever see. It's peopled by the most ignorant characters ever brought to life on screen. And it's tremendous fun to watch it.

Urbania - It is a ripe and delicious fruit with a zest full of bitter sting and tangy surprise.

Ushpizin - Is the kind of movie that will be able to heal the heart of the most hardened cynic.

U-Turn - Is weird, but it isn't the story that makes it so.
