Champions - The film begins to go beyond your typical schlub and asshole type "buddy comedy" and begins to become something more unique.

Who the $#%& is Jackson Pollack? - Most stories begin "One upon a time..." But this story begins, "You ain't gonna believe this shit."

Population/436 - Is kind of odd yet typical, a strange combination.

A Scanner Darkly - You don't have to go any further than the first scene to know that Linklater is way off the map here.

Small Town Gay Bar - This documentary is not what I thought it would be and not what I wanted it to be.

2am - Derivative, sloppy, painfully bad excursion in to why things like good acting, good direction, good dialogue and interesting stories are important to making a film work.

Americanese - It's hard to imagine a romantic drama that is more unromantic.

Dance Party, USA - Mesmerizes the viewer and holds their attention rapt.

Gretchen - A lot of fun and often hilarious, it is also overly long and a bit too much to swallow.
